Ticket Solutions / Tickets4u are scammers

Ticketsolutions.com/tickets4u.com sold my parents tickets for over 3 times the face value, the event wasn't even sold out!

Last week my parents decided to attend events at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. They searched online for "Kravis Center" and clicked on an advertisement by Ticket Solutions for tickets for events at that place thinking it was the Kravis Center's website. Seeing the prices of the tickets, they thought they were expensive, however, being used to attend events on Broadway for those kinds of prices, they didn't think much of it.

The problem is when they got their tickets. They had ordered tickets for 2 separate events. They got the tickets for the first event, which they paid $200 each. They were quite surprised to see the face value of the tickets to be $60. The worse is those events weren't even sold out and that there was plenty of tickets available!

My father called them to get a refund, which was obviously denied. Worse, the tickets for the 2nd event were on their way and those weren't refundable either. My father offered to keep the first ones and get refunded on the second ones, which was again denied.

Don't get fooled by their so-called "200% money back guarantee", they WILL NOT refund you should you get ripped off.

Have you been scammed by Ticket Solutions / tickets4u ?

I strongly encourage you to do the following:

  • Contact your credit card company and contest the charges.
  • File a complaint to the Better Business Bureau here
  • File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission here
  • File a complaint with the Attorney General'S Office - Consumer protection Division here
  • File a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center here
  • File a complaint with any other consumer protection organization you see fit.

With enough complaints, we should be able to take those Ticket Solutions scammers down and make the web a bit more secure.

How can I avoid getting scammed?

  • Make sure you are on the right website, check the contact email address and the site's policy about refunds and prices. Ticket brokers want you to think those are the regular prices for the tickets. You usually have to look very hard to find information and disclaimers about the prices not being the face value.
